The person who owned this domain name before I registered apparently had a page all about "The Dark Side of Homeschooling". Here is a quote from the original website, "This is a spoof page I created in response to a very controversial and deceptive news story by CBS in the fall of 2003." I personal have no issues with homeschooling. I know children who have gone through the school system and children who have been home schooled. I also know others who did the lower grades at school and then home schooled for the high school years. I see advantages to both. Personally, neither my wife or I had the time or the skill set to do so. However, good friends of ours did, and did a good job of it. You really need to the do the research before deciding.

However, when it comes to learning as an adult homeschooling is perfect. Especially when you have access to the Web. Remember that the search engines are your friends. Anything that you want to learn can be found on the Web. Some things are harder to find, but if you can't find it with one search word or phrase, try another. There are many different keywords and/or phrases that you can use and they will all find different websites with the information you're looking for.
